How It Works
Monthly repayment formula:
M = P × r(1+r)ⁿ / ((1+r)ⁿ−1)
Where:
M = monthly repayment
P = principal (loan amount)
r = monthly interest rate (annual rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100)
n = total number of monthly payments (years × 12)
Example: £250,000 mortgage at 5% over 25 years = £1,461/month
